GM Events

Considering the roll over on accounts/toons that deal with this server GM event loot doesn't hurt anyone in the long run.

The majority of people I know that got anything from a GM event during the Summer have quit or moved on to other toons.

Events? Yes.

Events at the sake of features or p1999 development? No.

Two things prevent me from being interested in recent GM events:
1) Lack of good loot.
2) They seem to be focused on PVP. I don't want to mix PVP with EQ thank you.

However, in general, I don't really care if there are GM events or not. I consider it a "nice to have", but not at all essential to the experience itself.

I always have enjoyed the GM events that actually had a full story. Those were lots of fun!
