![]() I've played a lot of MMORPGs and EQ2, in my opinion, beats all of them by far. I've played for several years. I also love EQ1 still, as it was the very first mmo I got in to. Played for 6 years starting from 1999. I love eq2!

![]() If not for the rampant ability glut EQ2 would be my game of choice. They have tons of content, shit looks pretty, there are familiar names and places and the housing is about my favorite thing ever because in a past life I was either a carpenter or maybe a gay because decorating is fun. It's just that by level forty I end up with sixty different abilities on my hotbars. The PvP is just absolute crap, too.

![]() I've been trying to find the client to download for the eq2emu.
I own the first two boxed sets but they only support the fourth fifth and sixth client for the game atm. Well if anybody knows of a spot to download the client lemme know plz. I agree for the most part with others though, EQ2 wasn't exactly a challenging game, it was more of a solo game with everquest themes and eye candy graphics. EQ wow style I guess you could say. It did have my favorite crafting system of any mmo i've played to date on the other hand. I've been poking around on the FFXI emu's and the EQ emu's currently. I enjoy both. If anybody wants to poke over and play some pre - abyssea classic ffxi come join us here. http://forums.dspt.info/index.php some stuff works, other's doesn't but its being actively developed and is playable atm. It's probably considered beta atm but there won't be any character wipes. | ||
