It eventually went back to just do 1 dmg and you'll get 100%, but im not sure if that came pre-luclin, so we may never see it be that way here again.

It's 75% reduction if you do not out damage your pet. I have heard and seen many 50% claims but from my experience it's a 75% xp loss.

What he said is true. Solo on a Mage now is just a turd. But they do great yet in a group. Fast kills, fast XP. But true they can solo better yet then some classes. Rogue, Cleric, Pally. But the pet nerf hurt Enchanters pretty hard also. Not too bad for Nercos.

- Pet never auto dual wield
- You have to do more than 50% of the damage to the target to get full xp
- Not sure if sword of rune procs on everything

1. Dual wield was added back in 2 patches ago.
2. Only true if soloing

Must have missed it then. One thing is sure with my necro (level 40, but that's not a mage), my pets just won't dual wield even if I equip them with some weapons.

Bottom line is: there you go, no real nerf compared to live.

Oh yes, thinking about it: you can't cani pet but that's about it.
