You need to open up Wineskin and kill the process in the Advanced settings (or just reboot the computer).

I don't have a system running 10.5.8 to do any tests... I get the feeling it may be due to older drivers. You may want to try changing the engine from WS8WineCXG10.x to one of the older WS8WineCXG9.x engines. Shot in the dark.

Sometimes changing the engine will screw up the whole wrapper though, so you may want to make a copy of it before trying.

You need to update your files. Download the patch from the P1999 site. Be certain to open the folders and drag the contents. Do not simply drag folders as you need to add to the contents not replace them.

So for those of you that upgraded to macOS High Sierra, here's what I did to get Project 1999 running on my MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch Early 2013).

First, obtain a Windows 7 x64 bit Professional full installation standalone .ISO, (you'll need a Windows license) NOT an OEM manufacturer Windows .ISO.

Follow this KB article VERBATIM:

https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201468

Upon completion of the above article, run windows update otherwise your graphics card won't be detected by EQ.

I copied an existing installation folder of p1999 off my backup drive to the MacBook and then downloaded the latest Project 1999 files patch. *(Project 1999 Files (V45) <-- at time of this post

Question Where to get the update files?

Hey guys, where do you get the P99 update files as mentioned in the video?

Also, I'm a little confused by this step:
Quote:
5. Copy your EQEmu installation into the "drive_c" shortcut folder. I didn't put it inside of "Program Files" just to keep the path short and sweet.
(If you are not copying/pasting, skip to Step 7 to see notes on installing from CD)
Where do I get the EQEmu installation?

Sorry if they're dumb questions but just tryna get back into EQ if possible and won't have access to my windows comp for a month or two.
