Don't get me wrong, the server isn't perfect - but what ever is? If you like it then play. If you dont like it then dont play. If you have constructive crticism then post it in the appropriate place or send to the appropriate people. Simple enough right?

I want more people to play and a larger, better community because it gives me more people to kill and makes the server more enjoyable - something most people can agree upon... And we're going in the wrong direction with these braindead fuckttards like pickled heretic posting their garbage.

Well the only people playing a 12 year old eqemu pvp server are probably fairly competetive about it, unless you're a casual scrub - so yeah it won't be all sunshine and rainbows with a little added dynamic.

The community isn't that bad. The loudest people on the forums don't represent the community at large. I also don't think the nicer people will be driven away, there are lots of guilds (like mine) where they can feel comfortable. But even outside of Spear most people I've interacted with have been polite.

All Servers have bad apples and PvP servers certainly have their fair share. But you can kill them. Which is quite a bit of fun. So give it a shot. Do not let the forums label the server. There are plenty of good times and good people playing here.

its true, there are a great bunch of folks here but a dozen or so loud-mouth entitled bandwagon teenagers who think the server and devs should cater to their every collect (usually bad) idea.

I kind of like how when one dick mage is camping the bank for example, all the more level headed folks with good enough reputations will band together and slay the evil mage for the good of the population. Also most of the "u mad?" tells have trailed off in the past few days, probably because either they ragequit the server or are serious bsns no lifers who are 25+ now and they only send tells to each other anymore.

There's good in everyone, and I'm secret friends with lots of my enemies. You can say EQ pvp servers attract a certain type of personality, but it's never so simple. PvP kind of acts as a contrast for certain personality traits; you're very aware of who you like and who you hate. Maybe you should ask yourself why you're so much more aware of those you hate than those you like.

The "community" you keep talking down on is a direct result of posts like yours. Look at your post history - it's all whining about one exploit or another and how it's the end of the world. "continue to vomit the same rhetoric all over again."

The server is great in game. People are having fun and the server is working as it should for the most part. People question the community because of a handful of forum dumbasses - and you are right there in the thick of it. So like I said, if you (and your amigos) just shut the fuck up the general perception of the community would tend to be much better.
