Possibly... but than that would make you insensible. The person ddos'ing the server is doing it purely out of spite and bitterness. The sort of person who does that isn't the sort of person who would see a thread like this, see someone say that he's made his point and should stop.

If the person the OP was appealing to was rational, he wouldn't be doing this in the first place. So... yeah, I appreciate what the OP is trying to do, but i see it as pointless and painfully naive.

what the DDOSer did was make people crave the game more. In fact after all this blows over I think we will have an increase in player population.

I get the feeling you aren't going to get what you want. I guess you are going to keep the server down for the rest of your life and reap almost no benefit. Seems logical.
