Why doesn't pickpocket work on players?

i enjoy seeing rogues do their thing, it adds to the realism. makes u pay attention if u see 1 snoopin around.

back on sz, me and somefriends traveled into the ot, ventured off n ended up finding a sweet xp spot in a zone over or somethin. we thought we founda perfect spot cause it was so far from everything.. no waay we'd get pk'd in here =P

then randomly, 3 rogues, all dressed the same, with funny hats on, snuck up and wtfpwnd us. it was awsome lol. organized crime at its best.

Played a rogue on live, you could PP players up to 3 times. You stole some of their coin and it was usually a waste of time to even bother (was srsly like some silver/copper at max skill iirc). On SZ you could PP from other teams, and I used to do it in the bazaar mostly for the roleplaying emote it gave b/c i was fully immersed. Granted, I was doing this in Luclin, so it may have been added later. At any rate, it's probably a waste of time to bother w/ this if it's not working.

I remember PP working on SZ. When you catch someone, it would make your character say "Stop, thief! %t" just like NPCs do when they catch you.



Results seem to support PP enabled on PVP server. A lot of the results are blue/WoW related, so you have to filter through those.

I believe this should work on pc's, Granted in fairness, said pc's should have to be in PvP range.. would hate to have a rogue pp me and not be able to hunt the theif bastard down and get some much needed street justice.
