Wrong. Account sales were a rampant feature of classic. It was easy enough to just go on eBay and find what you needed for a long time.

Also wrong. I payed 10kpp for a stripped 35 monk during Kunark. Over my EQ career I probably had 25-30 or so different accounts in my possession over the 8-9 years I played and I never spent more than the monthly subscription fee on the game.
