It has everything to do with it. The ''old'' folder isn't supposed to be in the new patch file so you obviously extracted the ''old'' folder into your existing EQ folder along with the rest of the patch. You wouldn't be having this problem otherwise.

I put the old folder in and it works 100% perfectly

Mine did too, for about a hour, then zoned and now its toasted.

Dunno wtf is going on.

I cannot create a new toon and enter the game. It keeps trying to send me to a tutorial zone and then pops up an error that the zone is not available.

Can't join the game with my characters in Upper Guk and Innothule. Client crashes everytime. My character in East Commonlands works, though...

Here's where I'm at:

Extracted files manually, logged into PVP beta, selected character logged out in Ocean of Tears, client crashes with do you want to report message.

Patched EQEmuLauncher with PVP beta selected, selected character logged out in Ocean of Tears, client crashes with do you want to report message.

Patched EQEmuLauncher with P99 selected (logged into PVP beta), selected character logged out in Ocean of Tears, client crashes with do you want to report message.
