You could always stack one bard effect of any given name with everything. I.e one bard could proc orb of tashan, and stack it with enc tash, but 2 bards couldn't both proc their own version to have it stack.
Here's some more evidence: (this post is just wrong, that's not how damage shields work, but regardless it mentions the bard stacking ability) For Damage Shields there are basically two types. "Personal" and "General". Personal ones are the self-only Coat series Rang/Dru get, Call of Earth, O`Keil's, and Shaman Potion. General are all others: Thorns, Mage DS, Banshee Aura. The ring is Personal type. You are allowed one Personal and one General Damage Shield without using Bard stacking tricks. So for general usage, this WILL stack with Thorns, Mage, NEC/SK Damage shields, but not Shamen Potions or other minor personal DSs. Hope that clears it up a bit. ____________________________ Ternada D'Spite "There are few greater pleasures than making a man yearn for Death, and denying it." http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6891 Bards... If a bard casts it, the effect will stack with every other damage shield out there, including the mage DS. So yes this is an extreamly useful item. ____________________________ -Descend -ShadowKnight -Druzzil Ro http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=6795 | ||

Bump! If it's relevant whatsoever, you can see this buff/debuff stacking in action on the eqmac aka PoP time locked server. Especially the DS stacking part mentioned in the above post. Bard songs just never seemed to follow the same rules as regular spells.
