Yeah guys, with literally thousands of players utilizing this server and probably 75%+ of them running anti virus, I wonder why it's only the couple of accounts that have almost no posts reporting this as a "trojan".

They already stated how it is detecting your hacks, which in no way violates your privacy nor does it in any way work like a trojan or virus. Rage more because you got busted?

Uh, I just stated I am in game right now. This is about support for legit players, not trying to scare people away from p1999. "Rage more" comes from people whose default reaction to things is to "rage."

I suspected it was asshat banned players reporting the file.

Sorry for the dupe thread, but this title is far more descriptive than the previous one and people will find support more quickly.

I've placed the file on the exclusion list but it doesn't work. I have to turn off norton for 15 min, then add the winsoc file and start up the game. When Norton comes back on it doesn't remove the file until i quit. Not ideal, but it work.

If someone attributes negative motives to your actions. It's because that's what would have motivated them, to take that same action.
