do you remember at the very beginning when you had to use the spell book to med and the spell book was full screen. you had to rely on sounds to know if something was nearby.
...and got you used to knowing what an approaching Hill Giant/Cyclops sounded like very quickly. The downside is that it also made you extra nervous in South Karana with all those elephants around.

When being +5 or more levels over a caster mob made you almost guaranteed to resist all their spells. Except Druid mobs casting DoTs with their crazy minus resist checks.

There is nodoby that doesn't rememberber because they are the only ones still playing other than if they are trying appease old dad cos he's on his last legs.

Make it a beginning again, cos everyone rolls caster and the 1/5000 players that choose ranger get to 1337 pull HHK goblins. Forever after that is just forever.

Or go luclin.

All else is m007sau3e

Do you remember calling EXP "bubbles"?

"I got 2 bubbles of exp last night"

I was just thinking I haven't referred to exp as bubbles since 99.

Also Woot afaik was invented in everquest.
I mean I still call them bubs. Blue bubs, yellow bubs, ticks, etc.

Yah - I remember as a kid in ~2000-2001 when the little blue ticks got added to exp. It had to be Velious: I started in Kunark and it wasn't there when I started.

Btw, just realizing that both times I started EQ was in Kunark. In 2000 and again in 2021 on Green.

I wasn't interested in EQ even though my friend raved about it. But then they introduced Iksars and I was in.
I believe it was on Luclin release along with the new graphics overhaul and introduction of AAs

I now visualise Kich 'Bub' 867 as Marvel's X-Men's Wolverine, Bub!

I thought it was late Velious because didn't it show up on Green during the timeline at some point?
