From what we've historically been told, the staff would accept donations towards the cost of maintaining the server infrastructure. When Daybreak came in, they looked at the cash flows and verified this and had P99 agree to a covenant that they would only accept money up to server cost and not make a profit off P99.

You're just wrong. Go post on THJ forums/discord about your complaints. Oh wait, you can't because they tried to monetize another party's IP so they could line their pockets with cash.
