Cant log on

for information this problem has persisted for nearly 2 hours, maybe a bit more.

unexpected crash or something? nevertheless, the fact that there is some activity and the server seems to be locked to players indicates they are probably working it out

Imo, this wont last for more than a few hours. Hopefully all is well or at least fixable server-side.

Same here, I can't log in either.

8:17 AM EST, game loads as if to character menu - then crashes back to Login screen.

EQEMU says they are up, so does this server's status :/

Was there a recent patch? Has anyone tried reinstalling latest update?

There was no recent patch. Having same issue here. Odd thing is that it does show like 20ish people on both blue and green.

Maybe those are GM's and Dev's testing a new patch real quick before dropping the DL for it? *hopes for Luclin*

Not likely. I don't think there are even 20 staff members and they never roll out patches this way. They develop the patches most likely on a dev server and then roll them out when they're ready.

20 could be family and friends! lol or maybe they use bot accounts to monitor stuff. The number changes a bit, and it's not us basic players.. so something is on there.

hehe, sorry no Luclin here on p99. perhaps we can hope for Reset/Recycle announcements though eh? There's still plenty to look forward to.
