Yeah, I work at a local supermarket, and it seems like people use food stamps for junk food and sodas/energy drinks instead of actual food.

Alaska has a separate food stamp system for pregnant women and women with children under 5, so they might just grab both. Idk.

The Farmers Market I really dig takes them, fortunately. That's typically where I spend my funds.
