do you get interrupted less when not shrunk? 25% seems wayyyy higher than my experience, but I never shrink myself on ogre.
Nope, same. I actually get interrupted almost as much as my barbarian shaman; with the exception of bashes not stunning and interrupting. But still get interrupted from melee attacks .

All of this before turgurs lands- but even with a turgurd mob, the ogre gets interrupted

the brief time I played on Quarm really was eye-opening as to how busted channeling is here, I was told that it gets better there post 50 but my enc was getting beat to shit anytime charm broke early and couldn't even channel an aoe stun until the 30's.

Yeah IMO this is the thing that makes people think Enchanter charming isn't classic as a whole. The other mechanics are fine. It's that on live channeling was much harder and so if you were trying to cast while getting hit it was basically a total tossup on whether you'd survive (unless you were in the top end of the level range IIRC). A root break on top of a charm break? Forget about it.

This moron spent years stalking me on forums here whenever I pointed out that Enchanter was OP due to channeling.

Hilarious.

?

Literally like every time you went on some long-winded, whiny rant about Enchanters being non-classic in every way, I said the only thing we know is non-classic is channeling

when they make the game harder to play, it means they don't want you to play it

EQ is dead. Long live EQ.
