The problem with shaman vs geos is that they are very disease and poison resistant, so without epic its tough to land a dot if you wanted to root rot them. Very low magic resistance though,if your into slow tanking.
Can confirm; I did some Geos on my shaman when he was in 57-59 and was quite surprised by how frequently my dots were resisted. They're still great if you have a duo that can bring all the damage, but trying to solo them was pretty painful without Epic. Not sure how fast Epic alone would kill them, so there's definitely other options out there better suited for a solo shaman.

You can JBB spam them if memory serves. OP is a troll, so they can use a JBB. Just slow tank and spam JBB. I was still able to land disease on them often enough if you use insidious decay I think, but it's been a while. If you don't have JBB you could spam hard cast your best DD. Not terribly efficient, but camping a single static spawn like Grik isn't efficient for a Shaman either. It's more about lazy play.

I do agree normally there are better options for a more active Shaman. It's a bit harder for me to think of lazy spots as OP is wanting. I believe I did do the FM Giants under the Fort at 55, but they resist a good amount as well at 55. I had Fungi Tunic, Fungi Staff, and JBB, so that helped. They are generally harder than Geos.

OP could also do goos from 55-57 or so. Did those in that level range on my SK. Only downside to goos is there are only two goo camps, so it's more likely they will be camped. Not sure how popular they are these days.

Goo camp unfortunately isn't as good now, the smaller goos that split off got an upgrade and are much tougher and aggressive, you end up burning a lot more mana than before

That is quite unfortunate. Can the Shaman pet solo them while you recover?

I think they're just garbage. They hit hard and you kill 3 goos with 3khp+. For mobs that are 40-44 that's a big deal. Kunark mobs in the same range have like 5khp. I did them with the chanter animation and I think I noticed the little ones miss more being lower level so maybe a melee who can split the baby goos with root could solo them good or a necro/mage since they don't have trash pets. Also, at 56 the baby goos coned green and yielded no exp so that's a whole lot of energy expanded for nothing. I'm not sure if a party in their mid 40s would get exp off all 3, that would make it more worthwhile.

I'm not sure what OP considers "hassle free" but HS basement could be solid. If he means pure dad camps there aren't all that many left at 56 and since the server is top heavy they're often contested. I'm personally having a hard time finding open solo spots at 58 nowadays, sometimes I have to hit 4-5 spots before finding something open so the big ones like the FM giants, frost giants or the qeynos dudes can be very hit or miss. At least the geos seem to have enough room for everyone most of the time. I don't like them much but I may start hitting them more for that sole reason. Nothing more annoying than having 75 minutes to play and spending 45 trying to find something open.

Ugh bummer; that might have been a hasty suggestion then.

I did Dyrna in HK to like 56/7 and Neriak Arena to 60. There are other spots too. Felwithe for a little bit, Chardok entrance/exit, Nyzil Bloodforge. There are some other static weird blue cons similar to Grik but with more hps. Not to mention tons of stuff in BW.

With an EB item this might be another decent one. Depending on how bad you want to hunt the driftwood chests. It would be slower xp I bet…better exp modifier but slower repop and the PH seems it could occasionally be a green con.

City of Mist has been my go to for toons in the mid 50s. Mobs are all melee, easy to root rot or face tank with slow and JBB spam
