I think that was Corudoth, I'm not sure what nerf it was, but probably made it immune to charm and/or other spells later on.

I always like to level my enchanter on whites and yellows inside dungeons.

I start at 32 trying to solo a hierophant cloak. Around 32 the enchanter class really opens up your options.
Up till then you can do some soloing but, it's not as fun and grouping in MM is just too good exp to pass up IMO.

how can you solo a lvl 55 mob at lvl 34?! or am i missing something here?

Derp hooded black cloak! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

at 32 it's as much as a challange as anything else you'd camp at 60 so is quite fun!

Man I wish I could go back to 99 and solo that guy at 32 after a week of grinding. Would be legendary. Then I'd feel like I really made it at life.

Used 13 wort pots.
Not to diminish the sick kill, but I'm gonna be an old man and yell at a cloud for a second to say I really wish they would nerf worts and consumables in general. Never saw this abuse in the classic timeline. Like did wort pot even exist in velious? It certinaly didn't exist pre-kunark. Its zam entry doesn't appear until late 2002 and I don't see it on alt.games.everquest until 2003.

Even if they weren't (they were) he could've used a reaper instead so it's a moot point. Nice cloud yelling though!

Yes they did, I remember seeing a video on everlore of a monk soloing naggy during KUNARK era live. He spammed healing pots throughout the fight. Not sure if it was stinging wort or not(20 years ago roughly).

Are you sure it was kunark era? I see a similar mention of this on alt.games.everquest is 2003 https://groups.google.com/g/alt.game...m/I4jUBTKjixwJ and the receipt is https://web.archive.org/web/20030801...ay15-2003.html

Like I totally believe they were in era, but is there actually proof? The truth is out there.

Given how central wort pots are to raiding, I feel like there should be mentions of this somewhere in era (pre Dec 2001).
