![]() It was amazing for spell info. I actually loved that thing. I wish I had a copy still, because it was gargantuan and perfect for the bathroom.

![]() I used this back in the day. It was out dated, sure, but for the most part the maps were fine and the spell data helped when online resources weren't as available. If you were using it as an actual "game guide" then you were wasting your time. As a simple reference for things that weren't consistently changing- it did its job just fine. Wondering what level druids get SoW? Book had it covered. Where's the zone line in Cabalis? Book had it covered.
For the most part I remember leaving it in the bathroom though.. | ||

![]() For a complete noob, it was a good book for getting familiar with the game, such as learning the lingo and etiquette, learning some of the class roles, seeing which spells are available, etc. Yeah, a lot of the info was dated, but it was still a fun read during downtime, patch days, and internet outages.

![]() The best part was the gods section imo, and i rememebr being dissapointed they only listed the stats for bears, gnolls, gators etc. Not to mention about 10 % of the info in the book was just strait wrong.
