Every level after acquiring a discipline the reuse timer gets one second shorter so by level 60 evasive is 3 minutes on for every 4 off. Evasive is just way overpowering. Don’t save it for hard mobs. Run it on refresh and time the hard mobs to be pulled for when it is up. It’s no longer a relevant anecdote but I remember my warrior on green happily tanking 25 spiders in velks at a time with evasive while waiting for the bard to pick up aggro on my pull. Good times!

You won’t really be crawling/treasure hunting at 60 as a warrior either unless you have some buddies to hunt with. The root net nerf hit warriors and mages the hardest. Pally is good but also consider sk. Both have a lot of dungeon solo potential but sk has more flexibility with fd.

If you want an actual treasure hunter just roll a chanter/shaman/necro alt. None of the melee classes are good at it, and will be relegated to farming fine steel and goblin skins for plat (which is still good money, just not what I would consider treasure hunting.)

A warrior, even with amazing gear, isn't really a solo character for crawling. It can sorta be done but typically lower end content.
A paladin will fare better but even a paladin isn't ideal. If you enjoy the war, keep it. I'd instead level an enchanter or necro for crawling. It's just going to be way waaaay better and can help you fund gear for your warrior later too. Basically, get war to 60. Then raid park warrior and play enc/necro.

I love paladin, love to sixman tank. Warrior is a lot of fun there too though and you can be a badass and get lots of pras if you're attentive to the battlefield situation. Get on the mob asap and stand on it's toes. A lot of casters know to root before they throw something high threat. Just expect the rogue to always wait to be hit in the face before they bother to evade. They're probably overgeared and being leveled by a mage or some other low priority raid class that is used to paying very little attention to the fight.
Also, positioning is everything. Strafe to a position around the mob so you can see your high threat mates. Watching for particles that will rip your target in their direction. You'll be prepared to quarter turn and straferun to them faster.

I assumed any crawling & treasure hunting on the tank will be done in a small group. I don't expect to do much soloing on the War with how rough its been going 50+. I'm hopeful as I get closer to 60 I can find some like-minded folks that are up to group some named's, help with epics, etc. My understanding has always been if I'm on the warrior I'm going to want to be in a duo at a minimum.
