Might as well wait until 19. Get your ports, then go there and bind...then you can port back when you want to do other stuff.

fair warning - travelling from FV -> LOIO has a fair risk of see invis spider death @ low level. DL -> FV -> LOIO however is even worse.
I remember on live i went to Loio at lvl 16 (paladin). I was super excited to go hunt in kunark, the way from FV to Loio was kinda scary, but i survived it most of the time. Only had very few deads on that route, it wasn't that hard.

You could go at almost any level, Kurns starts at about 8-10 and is pretty good exp, but I wouldn't recommend going until 20. You'll find much more consistent groups in Oasis, you'll have an easier time getting your spells, and you get new spells much more often. Oasis takes you to 20, at which point you can go to LoIO where there's usually a group at the sarnak place or otherwise good soloing spots. Kunark travel is pretty harsh and you'll wanna be able to survive a round of melee or a nuke in case something red aggros you on your way somewhere.

I went at 10 as a druid, like everyone else has said, the FV part of the run is scary, I invis and be sure to con everything that moves and some that dont, I have found that the initial section from the town in FV up to the zone in area to LOIO is the dangerous section, if you choose to go on past it and hit the zone in for swamp of no hope its pretty safe from there, and the run from swamp of no hope to FoB is pretty easy, so once your past the creepy drachnids, its pretty much just time and distance.

The Overthere has mobs as low as the low-teens, and hardly anyone hunts there at that level; you'll have zero competition. The XP is glorious, too.

Probably the best advice here. Hit LOIO then OT and kite til your eyes fall out [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Thanks for the suggestions. I think 19 plus ports and spells to make travel back to Kunark not reliant on a possible boat trip to Butcherblock the best option. Thank you for the suggestions.
