A disproportionate number of EverQuest players were also young men who were coming of age around 9/11. A lot of them joined the Military and got PTSD. By a lot, I mean, a disproportionate amount when compared to previous and following generations.

Almost all the guys I played this game with when I was 16 joined the military and served overseas.

I'm not paranoid. You're just dumb, Paisle. You remind me of my little sister who says similar things, and then ultimately realizes I just saved her fucking life because I wasn't being paranoid, and was right.

I remember the time that her dumbass boyfriend made fake money, and ordered pizza, paid with it, literally giving the secret service their address (since the pizza was delivered to their house). They were stunned when the police showed up like 20 minutes later.

I told them the secret service would be at their house within the next 24 hours, as they always are with counterfeited money. Her dumbass and her dumbass boyfriend kept telling me "you need to think positive dude, youre so paranoid."

Next day, Secret Service shows up at their house and searches the entire place looking for a printer... they didnt find one for a reason

like im not paranoid, im fucking smart, and i am very aware of what is happening around me and the fact that you cant trust any one and that the world is not a safe happy place. most people in life who you meet will try to fuck you the first ch ance they get (youre a prime example of this, literally befriending my worst enemy, and then trying to slander me on one of the only thigns that makes me happy)
