to my knowledge it's because they are very difficult to level up. Probably the hardest class, since they suck terribly at soloing-

melee and hybrid melee need groups to level efectivly and w/ 1 and 2 being the most played which are also the most solo friendly .... ...well lets just say lfg all the time isnt very fun hence why melee/hybrids are underplayed on this server .

I think once group bonuses go in that you will see a lot of those necro/mages rerolling.

Of course this is only players who aren't ANON, so it probably overrepresents must-group classes like warriors and rogues, and underrepresents classes who get spammed for ports and buffs (enc, dru, wiz). Not sure about clerics, who have to group to level but also get spammed for rezzes.

This isn't far off from what I'd expect. Especially the magnitude. Though I would have thought bards would be higher. But the hybrids are holding down the bottom, so that goes to show how the exp penalty is perceived. Druids used to be up there, but they got a little more difficult to play after the last couple patches.

right now my main pretty much is my ranger, and just focused on lvling in mm, either if im not in a group, i solo ent fine, or i can find a group there

rogs dont seem so bad was grouped with one last night, and he wasnt using the best he could, gloomwater spear, and was doing some nice backstabbing, then we had another rog joined, had some badass weapons equipped and was doing id say maybe more dps then i was doing

but yea rogs are very mush group depedable, and you can get some decent pokers for 1.2-2k and still do your job

most bards ive grouped with do there job, but the last 3 weeks has been lvling with 1-30 chars, i dont think i want to make another alt, man so much of a mess lvling 4-14 in cb

best dps out of all melees are deff the monks, then rogs, wars/ranger/bard, those 3 classes can be versatile, many groups ive out dps'sd bard and wars, and time they got the better of me, all depends about gear

The best dps out of the melees are Rogue, then Monk. This is not really debatable except where the devs ruined Rogue backstab the last patch. And next patch it will be fixed again. (hopefully)

Bards cannot hope to match Paladin and Shadowknight dps, nor ranger/warrior.

Yah lately Ive been seeing Rog as the lowest on the list, next to Wizzy then Ranger. Ive actually been thinking bout making a Rog lately and trying them out since its 1 of the only class's I havent played yet. But I mean, if there pretty much main and only attack is nerfed then, eh, prob not the best idea to roll one now lol.

At this point if you're just rolling, your DPS will be about the same whether you have a Trak tooth or a Dragoon Dirk.
