even with the lower backstabs? On TLP during Kunark I main hand razor sharp short sword from veeshans peak (which is a sword) but they have a bandolier system that will auto swap for you when you backstab so it wasnt a big deal

on p99 i imagine that gets pretty exhausting lmao

It’s almost certainly more dps under 55 to Main hand horn. Every parse for a few hours was more dps horn. At 55 rage main was suddenly better by a little.
It’s also irrelevent. Stab Stab. Swapping only becomes worth it when you own a vyemm and vulak dagger and just swap MH. Before that is ultra try hard.

in terms of playing in a group and stuff i agree, they are very cruise control, but i think it would be very difficult to actually level a rogue to max level on a server like blue where no one groups

obviously im not talking about PLs or insane twinks (twinking will only help so much, i couldnt solo a rogue in TLP with full skyshrine armor, and 15/20 piercers), pre-nerf fungus staff etc. much further than level 35, hard to imagine it would be easier on p99

but like for sure in groups it does feel a lot easier to play a class whose main role is turning auto attack on and pressing backstab lol. i know playing shaman wears me out. solo'ing is pretty easy, but in a group theres so much shit to do between constantly trying to slow, heal, manage pet, keep everyone buffed / hasted as you mash cannibalize every 5 seconds for hours on end. not necessarily hard, but for sure laborious compared to playing a rogue.
