Manastone use, Druid or Cleric

If this was Kunark "The Hole" launch era, when the hole had like 60+ people in it every night, I'd say cleric hands down. Leveling a cleric in groups in the hole with a manastone (and pre-nerf donals BP) was the most fun I ever had on my cleric.

However, unless you can BYOG to the hole, it's not going to be very useful. Most good groups are not in classic zones anymore.

As far as soloing... soloing a cleric is extremely painful with manastone. Literally. Like, you will get RSI from clicking your stone so much. I leveled my cleric in classic from 40-50 on spectres and to keep two spawns down I had to basically be spamming my stone every single moment that I wasn't fighting and by the end I had pretty bad RSI.

Having a manastone on a cleric is more than just combining it with Complete Heal. You can also simply hit the stone frequently. Fungi + manastone = 5 mana per tick that stacks with clarity, bard, FT, etc.

BP + Wrist + Fungi + Manastone would be a riot.

with diamondskin legs and ports you can get full mana real quick on druid from any zone you can bind in, which is nice. Wizard too with epic.

Totally agreeing with it. Probably the most overrated item in-game in my opinion. Thing said, I used mine alot on my cleric and druid, and I found that it is much more usefull on a druid than on my cleric. Also its pretty tedious to do it on a cleric. You spam more than you would on a shaman. You might aswell find a buddy enchanter and farm/xp with him.

Thought about paladin, but the freedom of ports is too compelling. Charming too is fun
