Maybe for 20 mins you enjoy. Then when head to oggok and have epic rune completely broken off your by to level 40ish ogre guards and you nearly die trying to root them, you'll realize you wasted your time on this shit class.

Wizards are amazing at teleports and decent at burst damage. They are a very AFK friendly class. That's about all. Their one trick pony for soloing, quad kiting, can get you to 60 but it's rather tedious. Even with an epic and a rend robe, or epic and a manastone, their abilities remain very focused and niche. I leveled one once, thinking it would be an easymode raid bot.

It was. But it was also very dull. If I had it to do over again, I would have just leveled a rogue.

Actually, no, if I had it to do over again I wouldn't have raided period, and would have spent the time losing weight and getting laid.
