When Jboots were removed from live, it was a good bit of time before they implemented the quest.

OCTOBER 13, 1999

A new zone, The Temple of Solusek Ro, is now available via the optional patch.

Journeyman's Boots will no longer spawn where they did but rather are the products of a quest.

I just attempted the Jboots quest only to have all my items eaten with no reward returned to me. Anyone else having an issue with this quest? Hundreds of hours of camping the AC gone in a single click...
