The thing is, it's never just a minor part anymore, if it's present at all. There used to be an occasional lgbtq+ character in a popular tv series or movie, and that was great cause representation, and they could actually make believable good stories around that.

Now like 40% of characters are some flavor of gay and it's like.... ugh we get it. Support the gays, I do, I always have. But your shows suck, cause you're pandering and most people can tell when you pander. There are other people to tell stories about.

I think some of the people whom mostly watch eclectic content on Youtube do it to feel more "edgy" or feel like watching any "Establishment" or "Mainstream" or "Popular" TV shows or movies would somehow make them "uncool" or subtly "propagandize" or trigger them with stuff like occasional minor to moderate woke casting or wokeish subplots or major plots... Stand in front of a mirror and read your post out loud, and every time you come to a quotation make the air-quotes gesture with your hands and make that face with the raised eyebrows to indicate that you're doing the air-quotes. You'll have to do seven of them.

Remove all quotes and middle-of-the-sentence caps and read it again. So much better, amirite?

Middle of the sentence caps are almost never intentional but an annoying autocap smartphphoje feature i and alot of others are too lazy or uncaring to Decapitapize my friend.
