The next big mmo feature?

I don't think it will be any one 'feature' that defines or sets it apart from the rest. But high polish and I personally hope focus on the core game-play and content as opposed to payment models / hooks.

If there is one thing I would be impressed by it would be a well polished VR-MMO. Unfortunately with the price point of VR systems it would most likely also have to be fully playable non-VR as the initial cost of VR would price out a lot of players.

Being able to buy a coloured 3D print of your character model would be cool.

You go to a local clinic to have a licensed medical professional record your height, weight, BMI, burst/sustained run speed on a treadmill, jump height, other biometrics, etc. for submission to the developer as part of the character creation process and that determines your character's abilities.

Maybe you get a really high wis score or bigger manapool the more your physical attributes suck.

Eqemu could gain a ton of potential if we got a solid level editor for it.
