It was fun getting to play as NPC's loaded with spells and stuff on EQ live. I think it was on test server. I was always like "What, cmon why did I die, I was gunna screw that player!"
THat must be how all nPC's feel all the time.

Ultima never had orcs until EA had the team add them. Ultima was never supposed to have tolken-esk species. This is why Gargoyles were a main story species in the ultima franchise.
Half-Orcs should be playable.

I have been waiting for an MMORPG, or really even just a good single player RPG where you play as a monster (Dragon, Chimera, Griffin, Hill Giant, Minotaur, Centaur, ect, ect) and the enemies are humans. You start raiding little villages and then by the end of the game you are attacking the kings castle.
You could even have a great story where the evil humans slay your mother dragon before your eyes as a bebe and then you grow and level in order to avenge poor mom. But bottom line is I want to play a cool monster and raid human cities as dungeons
