It must have been the NPCs. Cuz two friendly druids, including Nitmit got me some XP, dinged 18 and a half and logged out with full druid buffs!

I was reluctant to get the buffs after what happened.

I still have a lvl 5 on vox sitting there contemplating its life as a kerran berserker.

I kinda enjoy mosying about on blue/green tho.

Was looking forward to grping some when I felt more upto it.
