Would you help someone play EQ.

Gustoo is not accurate. I met a shocking amount of people who play P99 who never played EQ before. My theory is that it's free and will run on older computers, so they try it and get addicted.

I only ask people that already play games a lot to try everquest, and I know 100% they will not get into it. If someone ever does I will be totally blown away.

I was only describing my approach and my experience. I know a lot of p99 players who did not play in olden days.

If a person that I approach to play actually plays and runs with it, I will be blown away. I would never try to ask a normal human being to play, only people already living with video game psychosis.

If P99 was simple to install... I think you would get more new players. You have to really, really want to play it to get the game running.

Starkind put a lot of effort into trying to play today.

It's not always about using a straw. Sometimes it's about just being able to stay focused and in a position where starkind can beam starkinds presence into Norrath.

Ya people are really uncomfortable with the installation process too. They feel its a virus. Takes some work, much more than normal games.

I can co-sign this and it sure as heck took me over 4 hours to get this running, (if I run as admin it doesn’t run- weird right?) but I appreciate this newbie quest bc it filters people out that didn’t want to explore norrath to begin with.
