Ditto. My addiction was strong back then, and it is strong now as well. More than anything though, I am on the same page as far as how vividly the game captures the imagination and how it really is the end-all be-all MMO. It has left a permanent impression on my video gaming life, as I seriously doubt I will ever be able to immerse myself into any other MMORPG as much as I was able to with EQ. There is just no reason for anything else...it's just too perfect (as long as the community is there).

I had to walk 5 miles in the snow to play EQ everyday, then have a 3 hour staring contest with a gnome just to get a camp! *shudders*. You don't WANT to experience my horrid nightmares of yesteryear! Only the drugs and booze got me through it all. Curse Verant for ever conceiving this diabolical trap!
