Yeah, I see Roegan and Nilbog in the EQLive disc often, in addition to a few other GMs. Kinda fun, cause they're of course A-List celebs in our niche branch of Norrath, but over there a lot of people could care less. Probably a nice reprieve for them not having people barking LawyerQuest shite, or offering suggestions for CuStOm CoNtEnT 24-7.

Rn, I'm finding Live to be fun as hell. I think a lot of the hate it gets is from people who want their EQ simple. Personally, I love having a bazillion AAs, because it requires you to know which ones to pop - in conjunction with others - for certain encounters (not just raids). Many named, for example, have hilarious debuffs now. Some cause players to FD, for example, or the dreaded AoE Charm. Imagine if Naggy caused the MT to FD, and you had to actually think on your feet as a Magician to toggle pet taunt on, etc. and not just be a warmbody aDPS in your static pull-and-grind group. Or, if you had a mob that spawned adds that, if multiplied enough, turned into another boss. Shit's super fun after 8 years of Kunark and Velious, and never getting a damned Earth staff.

I mostly give it hate because of: Kronos, PoK ports, Bazaar, companions, graphics updates, aliens (lol luclin). I'm sure it's fun for some people, but unfortunately TLPs always eventually represent everything implemented that forced me to grow and hate the game, even if there is some good content in there.

I can't handle the non-classic zones and non-classic models. It's just not everquest to me, it's some weird new game I'm uninterested in.
I don't even use luclin models on takp.
