Cuz pvp in eq was always bad as fuck, what people where fond was doing ganks and train people with impunity,

if pvp in live was good why most zekers went to stormhammer during luclin pop to gear up to stand a chance to fight back.

if people wanted that kind of stuff they could always go uo.

I did try it. I got a shaman up to 46(I owned a twink paladin in MM, that was kinda fun). There was like 5 people my level to play with. It was -amazing-

The original Ultima Online gave the players the ability to police themselves (Open World PVP)

They should create a Guild War system on P99 that automatically flags a guild war once a guild successfully kills a raid target. All guilds that have killed a raid mob are flagged PVP to all the other guilds that have also done so.

Guilds can create alliances that removes this flag between the guilds that have formed the alliance. Example: Federation wouldn't be PVP flagged between each other. Only to other guilds that have successfully killed a raid target outside of their alliance.

PVP would be based on level and guild membership. Will never happen but it would certainly create a possibility for resolution beyond bitching in RnF. Would definitely make the game a lot more interesting and put an end to cock blocking pixels.

Let the guilds police themselves with open world PVP - GMs take a hands off approach and watch it burn

Problem is that EQ is so heavily gear-dependent that one guild ultimately dominates all PVP due to their gear alone.

I'm also angry at a player named Vodka, who ninja looted Essence of the Cyclone off of Heroic Halfus during Cataclysm. The other tank didn't know what he was doing, so he stood in meteor strike and got 1-shotted. I not only solo tanked the entire encounter, I spent 6 minutes DPS'ing it down after the entire raid wiped, only to have the item ninja looted. When I left, about 15 minutes later the same guy asked if I was coming back or not (to finish the rest of the raid). When I told him he done lost his fucking mind, he said I was a bad tank and didn't deserve the trinket, and I'm just sitting here thinking how in the actual fuck? I literally solo'd this entire fight for the raid because y'all are so fucking noob. I'm playing an alt at the time, and not only had 60+ Heroic Halfus kills on that account, 12+ of them were with that character, in raids I actually led. Ain't no god damn way they were getting passed Heroic Valiona and Theralion anyways.

Dude was a massive piece of shit. Anytime I'm playing WoW and I run into a player from Sargeras, I'm like "so, do you know this guy named Vodka?" My blood starts boiling just thinking about this *****t.
