Is "your bow shot did double damage" effected by a stat ?

I saw that, but I think I'm more inclined to believe the guy who tested it out in game than something Brad McQuaid said once 20 years ago. Brad McQuaid said a lot of stuff. I just wanted to see if it had been changed in the last year since a lot of people seem to think it's not classic, although I've never seen any real in-game proof from live that confirmed that one way or the other.

I mean you need great strength to draw a longbow in RL makes sense you need high str for dmg in game

If on P99 bow damage is based on STR then p99 is wrong. P99 devs probably couldn't get DEX to work right so they based bow damage on a melee damage format, which is increased by STR. Melee dmg is so screwed on P99 so that should be your first indicator. It ebbs and flows with ~10 hits ~10 misses and repeat. on Live melee damage was more fluid with hits and misses interwoven.

Back on Live, it was definitely Dex (I played a Ranger, and did extensive testing). The fact that it is Str on P99 is a bug.
