Rallos Zek is technically not evil. He is the god of war and it just makes sense for a warrior to worship Rallos Zek regardless of the race.

My halfling warrior on live worshipped RZ. Actually all my characters on live picked deities based on how I would RP them. Never ended up doing much RP but by the time Luclin was out Religion faction hits became more or less a non-issue.

This is not exactly the same thing because there's really no choice of religion per se, but I had an Iksar years ago on EQ that became non-kos almost everywhere. I rolled another Iksar here just for the challenge of seeing if I could do the same thing.

I'm never going to play enough to be on the leading edge on this server, so little challenges like factioning are just something else to do.

It's as close to evil as ya can choose as a wood elf tho. You get Karana & Tunare or Agnostic as your only other choices.

Maybe I'll make a Gnome Cleric follower of Bertox just to be different.

Funny that you mention this. My gnome cleric was a bertox worshiper on live! [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Human cleric of innoruk is pretty cool. A good friend was one on fennin back in the day.
That could be fun...probably not a lot of humans with the snare clicky necklace.

That snare clicky really isn't that good due to the long cast time and unable to be clicked out of inventory. I had a dark elf cleric back in the day for two boxing purposes and I was underwhelmed with it.

That said I'm currently playing a human wizard and I strongly considered going with Innoruuk. But I caved and went Sol Ro due to faction fears. Still didn't go agnostic tho.

My main back in the day was a human shadowknight (Inny) so I've already experienced the "neutral race - evil diety" thing. It actually opens more doors than it closes, I could walk around everywhere but Grobb, Ogguk, and Cabilis with minimal faction work, most of the time without any faction work at all.

I think the most unusual choice of all would be a half-elf with an evil religion (not Rallos Zek either, but Innoruuk for example). Because half-elf is generally regarded as a good race. I'm pretty sure none of the other "good" races can choose an evil deity, assuming you count gnomes as neutral and not good.

Human Warrior with Innoruuk is glowering to neriak, at least it was on vztz 3.0. Quite handy.

Furor was a human warrior worshipping Innoruuk.

Don't be like Furor.

It takes infused items, which require celestial tempers/essences, and those are post-luclin I believe.
