Will Phinny's mage/wiz staves and bard backbone also be deleted at Kunark launch?

Did these items drop already in Classic? I haven't even bothered to look.

If these items were added later, I would like to advise people to be mentally prepared for these items to disappear from characters and banks at the point in the timeline when they were added (presumably when Kunark opens).

Thoughts?
