Leveling spots start to dry up long before 50 in vanilla EQ. Now is the time to get all of your alts into their 30s. Then you can start playing the real game when Kunark hits.

It most likely because stuff is in window or poping on Blue.

It is far more likely due to the fact Teal and Green have had dropping populations since November and Blue's population has remained relatively static. Sure Blue has a boost on the weekends, but so does Teal.

Teal wasn't even released until November third. You're saying that the population started declining when the servers launched? What is it with you people? Green and Teal have781 and 654 players logged in respectively at this moment, and it is an NFL playoff Sunday. The sky isn't falling and we still don't need to merge.

Sure the lower population in the last week of November is skewed due to the holiday, but yea, over the course of November Teal's population was declining. It just wasn't as big of a hit as December was. Teal's peak weekend population is about 2/3 of what it was the weekend after it was released.

I'm not saying Teal is dead, but yea... Teal's population has been in decline since launch. Same with Green. It hasn't reached cataclysmic levels, sure, I was just stating that the reason why Blue is higher today than Teal is not because Blue has had a resurgence, but because Teal has been declining. Are you arguing that 654 is approximately equal to the 1065 Teal had the weekend after it's launch?

Looking at the last 6 datapoints on the graph you provided it seems the population has stabilized over the last month.

Initial interest was bound to wear for some, others have hit 50 and are taking a break (me), but your graph did well to indicate that the server pop is indeed stable.

Can move to resolved.

When 2 major guilds with 100+ people have dragons in window, population tends to raise. Blue is still dead.

people thinking teal is failing with 600+ people online, however they never tell us how dead blue is with 500-600 with WAY MORE CONTENT. The whole of blue zones are graveyards. 150+ in EC out of 500ish online.

Teal is fine, stop it.

I doubted your assertion based on my hourly graphs, but I do see some instances where Teal>Green, at least based on eqemulator.org's population reporting.

It looks like the 00:00, 01:00, 03:00, and 08:00 hours, Teal had at least one moment of higher population than green at the same time in that hour. The difference was never more than 36. It should be noted that based on the MAX population of the hour for both servers, Teal didn't exceed green ever.
