Logging forfeits camp. Rules are quite clear. Doesn't matter that he cleared previosly, nice guy or not.

I don’t think you’re following the story. Let me help. He logged out to help a friend. There’s clearly an exception to be made.

I understand the story and am sympathetic to the guy, but the rules are also clear.

It does't say "unless it's to help a friend". Any GM or guide is going to rule that the camp is lost when he camped.

Reznor is the dickhead in this case. If you're going to different camps trying to hold multiple then that's different. But obviously he was just logged out for a sec because he killed it last.

Is not lguk like 20+ respawn? He coulda been gone 1 min or 20 mins. He also could just been lying. Perhaps he got the drop on 1 toon and had another toon parked there which he swapped to in order to resume camp.

If there's exceptions to the rules, why have rules?

If it was a pvp server you could contest it properly with your skills as a player.

Sarcasm really doesn’t do well in this medium.

Prove this. I was just told by a GM 3 weeks ago that someone can keep the camp as long as they are at the camp by the time the next PH spawns. I legitimately asked the GM if the guy can log on to his next alt and bring it before the next PH pops and he said that is totally legal. So from what I was told by the GM you can hold a camp forever without being in front of said camp.

Maybe. But you'd have a hard time winning an argument if you go to log back in and someone is now there in the camp. 99.9% sure GMs would side with the guy who showed up to the empty camp.
