Well, the person that starts and ends the quest appears to be level 13.

In theory something like a level 16 Enchanter could invis the troll so he could set up in a nearby safe place, then charm the mob, move him to where the troll is so the troll could get the quest combine item (charmed target is indifferent) and then start giving him 4 gold at a time to get the card, which is turned in for the 2nd page?

As to the OP, if you can't kill it you can't camp it. The troll was a dick but he's not obligated to help you.

My buddy was camping it with me. But at 2:30am or so, he falls asleep and his computer goes into sleep mode causing him to LD. Might want to read the OP. Stupid

You continued camping this thing for what, 4 more hours despite your partner going LD and you not being able to actually kill the mob you're camping? And you think this guy KSed you even though you made no attempt to attack the mob after it spawned?
