I don't see how that's relevant to the post.
It's not, he's just posting the same thing in every thread so that everyone knows how smart he is.

Also yes ofc Kunark is the best version of EQ. Iksars.

I think Kunark is probably the best era too. There's a lot of lore stuff that makes velious really interesting, but the content wasn't as amazing as Kunark's content.

I love Velious but have to admit it has one flaw: end game loot is WAY overpowered.

I've seen so much hate for Kunark on this forum but honestly I agree. I think Kunark in particular is pinnacle EQ.

Velious has tons of awesome content from like lvl 35 on. If you can't get to level 35 in 2 years I dunno man.

I think Kunark feels like an evolution of Classic, which makes it more nostalgic for me. Velious feels very distinct from the rest of the world, which is nice for variety, but it isn't as fun for me.

I imagine people who raid a lot see it differently, as that's where the majority of the interesting Velious content is. I got to experience that progressing on PEQ long ago, but I haven't had the desire to do it here. I like grouping and leveling more.

Cut Velious in half. Limit it to IC, EW, GD, Thurg and Kael. That removes all the OP gear and makes Velious more of a leveling and grouping expansion with just a handful of new raid targets.

I'm not really anti velious specifically, I just think green server should have/needed to launch with kunark in the game with no patches/progression from that point. I think that would have given us the best launch experience possible and best server long term.
