It's better to play without expectation of getting one. If getting a guise is your sole reason for playing green you are probably just going to be disappointed.

That being said, I'll be super sad if I don't get one.

I'd really like to get some Rubicite for my ranger, more for nostalgia (and looking cool) than anything, but I'm not to worried about the final outcome.

The /list items are pretty common drops TBH. You may have to poop in a sock, but if you're willing To pay the social/emotional/physiological price, you can get one. Maybe it takes an extra day off work and a lot of caffeine, but anybody willing to do that can get one. You don’t need a big guild, nobody can hand off the camp, you don’t need to track for 96 hours and then batphone your guild and hope they all show up before the other motherfuckers track it and wake up and train you. It’s not that hard, it’s just a measure of who’s willing to sacrifice more of their life for it.

It's objectively true that not everyone will get a guise, but I really think the forum population over-estimates how many people actually want one. How many of the 2,600 people mentioned are even going to hit level 35 before these items are removed, much less be willing to sit on a list for 24 hours twiddling their thumbs? I'd guess way less than half. If you're already ahead of the curve leveling and really want to get one, I suspect you'll be fine.

I'm admittedly only dabbling in Green, but I have no interest in one. Not sure how representative I am though.
