My favorite part is running back when you're almost to the sisters camp and a brownie beats your ass into the ground 38 minutes into the trip.

The Nybright camp pretty much is the best of its kind for the level range - I doubt anyone's going to argue that. But the thing that is always more important than raw early plat for a player is just getting levels any way you can, as efficiently (and by having fun!) as you can.

Steamfont minotaurs from both locations are a good substitute, as are the derv camps in Ro desert or East Commons, or the bandits in the Karanas as well as Lake Rathe. The cash to be made off of those camps will be like only 2/3's of the Nybrights (include that red bandit sash quest!), but that's life. It's enough to get by comfortably. Dungeon grouping will be a huge deal too. I think crushbone, split paw, and upper guk will be amazing.

I pray for the souls of people grouping in Befallen due to the mixed level range of mobs that walk around. Godspeed, daring heroes.

The second bandit camp that you're thinking of is absolutely not safe if you are KOS to either Pixies or Faeries. For some unholy reason P1999 has incorrect mob pathing with a Thistle Underbrush placeholder wandering a wide, long, repeating path to either hill side facing the 3 spawn bandit camp as well as the center of that camp. If you are KOS to either Pixies or Faeries then eventually a Pixie trickster or a Faerie maiden will wander by, aggro you, you end up killing it, and then eventually a named Brownie spawns and wanders by to kick your ass.

Been there, got the shirt. That camp was ALWAYS safe back on old retail by sitting on the hill side facing the camp that was nearest to the zone wall, but no one can expect P1999 to be perfect.

Neriak has plenty of cash camps, just not super obvious ones like Nybrights who drop bronze rappers like candy.

Commons have plenty of animals for pelts (worth plat to tailors), wisps (lightstones), dervishes, etc.

Lavastorm has fire drakes and dervishes which can drop gems or jewelry for cash.

NRO has more dervishes including a chance at dragoon Dirk, plus lots of spider silks.

So, the plat is there - just not as concentrated or as easy to obtain.

Shralok pack camp, low lvl Rivervale guards not listed on wiki, runny eye, etc. not to mention you close to highkeep, could duo guard Blayle or Chopin both on 3 min timers around lvl 16 and make bank all the way to 50.
