I saw a post on Reddit with a Luclin work-around from awhile back that apparently works (if you like the Luclin models, which I don't). Wouldn't be surprised if someone comes up with a UI work-around.
Apparently someone clued Rogean in to that work around and it’ll be closed today.

Good thing, too. Luclin models suck so bad that I take it as a personal offense every time I see them.

Only to have Rogean eventually notice and effortlessly nuke it into oblivion.

Yikes. Bye bye Luclin Models. Don't even need to patch.

They've moved well toward what a classic UI is meant to be with only 6 hot keys and no numerical info without pressing "I".

Why not set the Velious UI up in line with how the classic UI was? You can play in 800x600 windowed mode by changing your eqclient.ini file. There's nothing stopping you, except you <3

The transparent UI gives me a headache. But the ui that is loaded when you /load default isn't that bad at all. It's functionally the same but not transparent. I have no problem with it at all.

It’s crazy to me how many people complain about this UI but were using some heinous looking UI on Blue like Vurt or Duxa.

people constantly complaining about badly designed features until they are changed is mayhap most classic thing of all

Duxa looks great; It's almost like taste is subjective.

That being said, I like the Velious UI too. The only thing I really miss is not being able to see the actual numbers in my mana pool.
