The thing that gets me the most is the level of distaste the mods seem to have for members of the sub.

I understand that there's a small subset of users who have doxxed/harassed mods, and I get why you'd be angry at them.

But when a majority of the mods seem to at best feel vastly superior to, and at worse actually hate, the members of the subreddit they're moderating, then it's clearly a problem.


tldr : saw this on reddit and sounded right on point, familiar. Difference is here and in eqemu people praise p99 devs for being dickheads. Not even thinking about what means to keep to urself p99 code so noone else can open an accurate classic server of a game thousands of people love from their childhood.

Rallos zek actual replica with held item loot rules and player fear and charm launch with green for the full chaos (actual live timeline adhered to)

OR discord permadeath launch with green

I don't want gustoo to go to blue any more than blue wants the red players dumped on blue but its wrong to just leave this broken rules stillborn server floundering when it could easily get revitalized (for a time)
