Fair. I haven’t had too much issue with Poxx being resisted, but I haven’t done many crazy high end soloing.

I would assume bane would be used over pox because malo, malosini doesn't effect disease. Keeping malosini , tash (stick) , and slow for the fight can be a big part. Can still debuff disease to around -40 i think, so it could come down to preference or situation.

I guess AOE means it doesn't do the damage per summon to justify the mana or time?

Pet causes the dragons to rampage. Combined with dispell AE you can't really keep it alive.
