Hi guys I know class doesn’t get a lot of attention. So I wanted to check them out and I must say one of my favorite level char yet!!

Here’s what I did !

Dwarf pally by the way!
Armor: crusty armor
Weapon: axe of lost souls
Haste: gloves 22%
Rings : hp ones 45-75 either works
Other armor : misc

Lvl 1-9 newb area around kaladim!

Lvl 9-15 crush Bone

Lvl 15-22 Oasis Crocks coulda went to unrest but over populated!

Lvl 22-28 hermit in South Karana fines steel for spells 😀

Lvl 28-38 High keep Goblins!! Fast exp

Lvl 38-41 aviaks avocets in South Karana this went kinda slow

Lvl 41-43 Centar chargers in South Karana by venders

Lvl 43-49 Bloodgills lake omen . Remember to farm a fishbone earring! Or buy one! I Tryed spectre’s and didn’t like those . Also from 43-45 these are tough will be longer meds . Once get lvl 45 the game changes to your advantage you can probably kill 2-3 before med break! Depending on your luck!

Lvl 49-52 Dyrna Nlith in Highkeep basement! Use stuns to stop her casting when can .
Was getting 3.5-4% a kill when first started on her! I’ve herd can take her to lvl 57 or 58!

Hope this gives some ideas of folks wanting to try a paladin!
love my dwarf pally I've taken a slightly different route:

dwarf cultural armor
5/55 rings
sword of the mourning
charred guardian shield(thinks that's the one with high wis)

Level 1-4 Kaladim newbie area

Level 5-15 Crushbone( did this in one day by killing and saving all belts and pads for turn in to push through higher level)

level 15-20 unrest courtyard and MR ( did use ghoulbane here)

level 20-30 najena (empty zone so had my pick of mobs mainly focused on spiders and 2 skeletons near pools)

level 30-40 unrest hags and basement

was going to head to lower guk next and see how that goes so will report back on that path later

thanks for the guide that highkeep NPC definitely looks promising

Just started a Erudite Paladin. My current route:
Level 1-6 Qeynos/Hills
Level 6-10 Blackburrow
Level 10-13 Gnoll Fang Turn-ins
Level 13-15 South Karana Bandits
Level 15-16 Bandit Sash Turn-ins
Level 16- Kurn's Tower

Gear is all over the place, still trying to score the Stalwart Seas Shield.

For all the newer or lower people doing solo pally or solo SK run, don't sleep on befallen. Earlier floors can be crowded but you can carve out a corner on the bottom floor and it is fast and easy XP, especially with a ghoul bane. that proc takes out 2/3rds of a lot of the skeletons on the second and third floor

Ghoulbane doesn’t proc until lvl 20. Basically everything is green at 20 in befallen. Would be a stretch to hit 22 down there.

Paladins aren’t that great at killing undead, not sure why everyone thinks so. Unless maybe you’re sporting a dawncaller. Their nukes aren’t generally worth casting in combat either.

Best pally solo guide is to seek out mobs with as little hp as possible due to their low dps. Kunark goblins, brutes, yetis, etc.

I agree, pally DPS is crap and lower HP mobs are def prime targets. I did however have lots of success in befallen hunting everything. third floor has several mobs level 16-20.

been a minute since my pally was that low though.

This persists due to lingering obsolete perceptions. When it's pre-expansion and everyone's level 30, the Paladin has a Ghoulbane and the other melees are using Obsidian Scimitars or similar junk--in those conditions, the Paladin's good against undead. In the modern PP99 setting where people can buy good Kunark/Velious weapons for a pittance Paladins are nothing special versus undead.

This same tendency affects other issues as well and is probably some characteristic of the human psyche. Perhaps folks have an ingrained tendency to want to maintain an opinion once formed regardless of later changes.

It's also because of what's written in their class description (see below quote)... and we all know that's a load of junk since clerics and necro's get better undead nukes ( Paladin's should tbh)

I think also like Snaggles said with castable IVU they do make our best foes to navigate on a daily basis - sometimes. If only there were more zones like Lower Guk and Unrest but one can go 15-60 in Unrest and lower guk if you want the full 'undead' experience.

I would die for a Dawn Spear on my Paladin in Guk, let it proc then root and helm heal up while that 750pt dot done-do it's thing - rinse and repeat.

Description

Paladins are holy warriors who use blessed spells and strength of arms to fight the evil and undead of Norrath. Paladins are primarily a melee class, able to wear plate armor and wield many kinds of weapons.

Paladins are able fighters and battlefield healers whose combat spells focus on stunning enemies and smiting undead. They also have several spells that increase the health and armor of their allies. Every so often, paladins can lay hands on themselves or their friends to instantly grant a powerful heal.

Paladins are the greatest force against undead. At higher levels they gain special abilities to smite these foes. Paladins also gain a limited ability to resurrect their fallen friends with lessened penalties for death.

Paladins can sometimes work alone, healing themselves with magic, but in a group a paladin really shines, going head to head with his enemies and occasionally falling back to heal. Players who like to engage in melee fights but want the options spells provide will find paladins a great class to play.
