You can make the same claim about the Taliban in Afghanistan (lesser technology/weapons vs. a superiorly-equipped force).

They also live in caves. In the absolute most remote regions of the country.

You should know that a tank REQUIRES a supporting group of soldiers on the ground or else it's a sitting duck.

People think tanks are all-powerful.
