Hah yeah, Im horrible at names but yeah I remember you and Malowen. Hopefully Im the first Iksar shaman to 60 again heh. I used to always wear the robe and mess with people though 8/. Need to Go get one again, that thing was uber. Also how the heck was I able to change my Surname ?

Yeah, i knowrite. I wasn't planning on really raiding with my shm, unless this stuff is out - nothing for iksar shms, sks, or wars until veeshan starts seeing some action.

So, there is no planar or end-game armor for iksars at all until velious?

I was leveling a warrior, but I really don't see a reason to now. I'd have like 10 months of nothing to do. What's best armor then? Mixed pieces of that chain that drops in seb and other pieces of crap armor?

Monks and necros can wear their planar armor since it isn't plate, but the rest of the classes are going to have a pretty rough time gearing up until Velious. Tanks in particular are going to be sadly inferior to any other race just because they can't use planar or Kunark class armor.

No idea why Verant thought their small ac bonus or innate regen would make up for this, but people were a lot less concerned with min/maxing back then and played Iksars anyway.

Iksars werent being PL'd also like they are ob P1999, Iksars I think had just started hitting 60 when velious came out

the iksar equivalent for crafted isn't even in right now, despite the NPCs currently existing without a purpose in OT. makes me sad!
